WHAT IS APPLIED KINESIOLOGY?

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a diagnostic method used to identify structural, chemical, and mental/emotional aspects of health within the body using manual muscle testing. It links weakness in muscle directly to organs and glands which signal internal problems such as organ dysfunction, nutritional deficiencies, nerve damage, chemical imbalances, systemic stress, or emotional trauma.

Gentle, Pain-Free Treatment

AK identifies muscle weaknesses and imbalances that need correction in a gentle, pain-free way. By addressing muscle weaknesses, internal problems can often be corrected using a customized approach that is unique to each patient’s individual needs.

  • Vertebrae manipulation and stabilization
  • Cranial techniques
  • Various myofascial therapies
  • Diet and nutrition management
  • Natural supplementation
  • Stress management

The Triad of Health

Balance is essential when approaching health. Applied Kinesiology considers the interrelationship between an individual’s structural, chemical, and mental/emotional well-being. By assessing the body’s response to muscle testing, Dr. Garcia is able to determine if the weaknesses found in the muscles are a direct correlation one of the three sides of the “Triad of Health.”

With proper AK testing, the following therapeutic goals are achieved:

~ Range of motion, postural imbalances and gait impairments are corrected
~ Early intervention and detection of degenerative disease processes
~ Balance of immune, digestive, endocrine, and other essential bodily functions
~ Insight into potential causes of physiologic dysfunctions (Chemical, Structural, Mental/Emotional)
